We are not looking for people who just want to win, but those who want to help the community of Shafter by dedicating time, patience, and effort into coaching a team. We have these programs for the KIDS and we would love to have coaches and parents alike do it for the kids as well. If you love sports and grew up in Shafter you might have participated in a Shafter Recreation Program like basketball, baseball, or softball, so you understand the impact of youth sports has on the community. We want the kids to build character, have a good work ethic, be great STUDENT athletes, but most importantly ALL the children are having fun! Come help us invest into the lives of Shafter’s Youth.
Shafter Recreation and Park District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
