REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

Shafter Recreation and Park District
Wonderful Company Community Park Complex Roads RFP

 

Ends on Monday, November 2, 2026, 5:00 PM

 

The Shafter Recreation and Park District is inviting applicants locally and across California to submit a proposal for the Wonderful Company Community Park Complex Roads construction scope of work.  The roads are part of the proposed new Shafter park located at 1448 E. Ash Avenue, Shafter, CA 93263.

 

October 5, 2026 - Request for Proposal Release

Detailed RFP specifications and submission guidelines will be released beginning October 5, 2026 online at https://www.shafterrecreation.com/ or by contacting Ed Felicidario at 661.520.8259 or by email at edf@tmjcc.com. 

 

October 15, 2026 – Pre-Bid Conference

The Pre-Bid Conference will be held October 15, 2026 at 6 PM at the Shafter Walker Senior Center, 505 Sunset Avenue, Shafter, CA 93263. 

 

October 29, 2026 – Close of Questions & Answers Period

Direct all questions regarding this RFP to Ed Felicidario by October 29, 2026.  SRPD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or waive any irregularities in the formal-bidding process.

 

November 2, 2026 – RFP Submission Deadline

Sealed hard copy proposals must be received no later than 5 PM on November 2, 2026 at 700 E. Tulare Avenue, Shafter, CA 93263.  No electronic bid submissions will be accepted.
